BLANCHARD HALL, WHEATON COLLEGE, WHEATON,
ILLINOIS, is the historic main building of the campus.
It is distinguished by its tower and its cornerstone in-
scribed with the College motto "For Christ and His King-
dom," and is the center of many campus traditions. Its
foundations were laid in 1854 with major additions in
1871, 1873, 1890 and 1927. It houses administration
offices and many classrooms and laboratories.
