The Rex Parade is one of the four given
during the Mardi Gras celebration. The Car-
nival draws immence crowds to the city, esti-
mated from 75,000 to 100,000 people each year.
The celebration takes place in February. Notice
the number of white shirt waists among the
ladies in the crowd telling of the mild climate
enjoyed in the WINTER CAPITAL OF
AMERICA.
