Evidence of earlier years is this colonial style
chapel, built in 1860, on a picturesque spot along
Hickory Run Creek. For many years served as a
house of worship and a school, for lumbering fami-
lies in the area. This 15,500 acre State Park can
be reached over Rt. 903, from Jim Thorpe, (for-
merly Mauch Chunk) or Rt. 940, near White Haven,
Pa.
