POTTSGROVE MANOR
POTTSGROVE was built by John Potts in
1752. It is a gem of early American architec-
ture and one of the few remaining homes
of America's colonial days. It is on U. S.
Route 422, a short distance west of State
Route 100. During the memorable winter of
1777-78 George Washington and a staff of
officers, and Martha Washington were guests
at Pottsgrove, Pottstown, Penna.
