THE JOHNS HOPKINS HOSPITAL

This world-famous hospital, located at Broadway
and Monument St., was founded in 1889 by Johns
Hopkins, local merchant and philanthropist. The
Children's Medical and Surgical Center (left back-
ground) is the newest addition to the Hopkins
medical complex.
