TRACHODON
The Trachodon was one of the many duck-billed
dinosaurs that lived during the late Cretaceous
period, 70 million years ago. The duck-like head
with over 2000 peg-like teeth, the webbed front
feet, and the fin on the back indicate that
Trachodon lived in swampy areas, feeding on
soft water plants. This replica is on display at
the Prehistoric Gardens on Oregon Coast High-
way 101.
