Central Park extends Fifth and Eighth Avenues from
59th to 110th street, being one of the most beautiful parks
in the world. The Fifth avenue Entrance known as the
Plaza Entrance is marked by a heroic statue of General
William Tecumseh Sherman which was designed by
Augustus St. Gaudens.
