This route is two hours shorter than any other. There are no delays and the employees are courteous and attentive, especially to women and children. Take any car to Willow Grove, change there to Doylestown car, which runs to the Union Trolley Station at Doylestown. The Easton cars leave Doylestown every hour on the hour, except on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, when cars leave every half hour. Inviting inns along the line serve a delicious country dinner at very reasonable rates. Fare from Philadelphia to Portland $1.25.
