  I grew up in the North Flats & went to school at South Water El for 4 years coming home for lunch in those days. I was terrified of crossing the bridges going and coming home and of hte fast swift deep Shenango River below. During winter when the walk ways were covered with ice and snow I was in terror all the time. To this day I am. But now the Shenango is a slow nasty dirty river since it was damned up. Shame on you for destroying our river.
