The entire garden is enclosed in an avenue
of Magnolia Grandiflora (Louisiana state
flower). The landscape around the Capitol
contains over 380 varieties of plants. All
these were brought from the Jungle Gardens
of Avery Island, La. In the center is shown
the grave of the late and beloved Huey
P. Long.
