The Stock Yards cover 40 acres of ground and
have a yarding capacity of 30,000 cattle, 30,000
sheep, 20,000 hogs and 2,000 horses and mules.
A stadium for the exhibition of live stock is 10-
cated at the Stock Yards. This building has one
of the largest show rings in the world and a
seating capacity of 7,500. It cost $230,000.
