by publishing 28,117,238 lines of paid adver-
tising. The News triumphed over all other news-
papers in America, in advertising published, in
1916, 19:19 and 1920, stood second in 1915,
1917, 1918 and 1921, and third in 1922. Of
the 13 greatest trading areas of the United States,
none is so completely covered in circulation by
one newspaper as is the Detroit trading territory
by The Detroit News.
