The organ on the south wall of the Protestant
Chapel is a brilliant instrument of contemporary
design. The console is centered near the balcony
rail. Behind and above, the pipes of the great
division are on two levels in the foreground with
pipes running from left to right. The positiv
division is on two levels in the right foreground
with the pipes at 45 degree angles to the great
division.
There are 851 pipes in the pedal division,
1317 pipes in the great division, 1161 pipes in
the swell division and 896 pipes in the positiv
division. Pipes range from pencil size to thirty-
two feet.
