The Protestant Chapel, with seating for 900 cadets
is the largest of the three principal worship area
Flanking each side of the nave are 38 pews of
American walnut. Stained glass panels suffuse the
area with multi-colored light. The cross suspended UN 16
above and behind the altar is constructed of alum- PM
inum and is over 46 feet high. The excitingly beauti1965
ful Air Force Academy Chapel is located just north
of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
