Ahuena Heiau, an ancient temple once the favo-
rite of King Kamehameha, has been reconstructed
on its original site in Kamakahonu Bay in front
of gracious Hotel King Kamehameha. Each eve-
ning guests watch a dramatic torchlighting cere-
mony at the Heiau from their private lanais.
