PANORAMA VIEW OF THE
PRESIDENTIAL RANGE FROM THE
GLEN HOUSE, PINKHAM NOTCH,
WHITE MOUNTAINS, N. H.
The Presidential Range is perhaps best seen
from the east from that celebrated old hos-
telry, The Glen House in Pinkham Notch.
Here the scenery is truly magnificent and
awe-inspiring with mountain range after moun-
i tain range towering up into the blue azure
vault of the very Heavens above until that
highest peak east of the Rockies, Mt. Wash-
ington itself, is seen with its summit build-
ings clearly visible, crowning this wonderful
Alpine vista. Occasional glimpses of the
celebrated Automobile Road up Mt. Washing-
ton may be seen through the heavy evergreen
verdure of the mountain side as it winds and
twists up to its destination and many there
are who take advantage of this very safe
and extremely scenic trip up this celebrated
mountain.
