The "C.H.U." toward the bottom left corner of the photo refers to "Central Holiness University." The campus is located in University Park, Mahaska County, Iowa. The school changed names over the years, eventually becoming Vennard College in 1959. There is no connection to Drake University (except, perhaps, for some shared alumni). This particular building was razed a few years ago.
