A view of Louis Martini's Monte Rosso vineyard located high
in the Mayacama Mountains of Sonoma County. In its red
volcanic soil all varieties from the prolific Zinfandel to the
rare Johannisberg Riesling seem to surpass themselves—it is
especially noted for its Sylvaners, Folle Blanches, Rieslings,
Cabernet Sauvignons and Barberas. Here, on the gentle slopes
overlooking the Valley of the Moon, climate and soil com-
bine to mature to perfection these grapes that produce the
distinguished red and white table wines of Louis Martini.
