This is the home of the BARTON DISTILLING
COMPANY and the BARTON MUSEUM OF WHIS-
KEY HISTORY. Extended over 180 acres are the
distillery (the largest distillery under one roof
in Kentucky, bottling facilities, and 31 seven-
story whiskey ageing warehouses, each with a
capacity of 20,000 barrels. Kentucky bourbon of
the highest quality has been distilled, aged and
bottled on these same premises since 1879.
Current brands of outstanding bourbon made
and bottled here include KENTUCKY GENTLE-
MAN, VERY OLD BARTON, TOM MOORE, COL-
ONEL LEE and BARTON’S QT Premium American
Light Whiskey - the new quiet taste in whiskey
- is also made here.
