ST. CHARLES SALOON, Columbia Historic State
Park, Calif. C. H. Alberding's frame store stood
here before the fire of 1854. The present structure
dating from 1856 suffered fire damage in 1857
and was rebuilt. Mike Rehm ran the "St. Charles''
for many years. The "St. Charles" is now used
for a family beer parlor and is visited by people
from all over the world.
