Holy Trinity Church, Stratford-on-Avon, is situated on
the west bank of the Avon. It is a cruciform edifice,
and of somewhat mixed architectural styles, the earliest
date on record being in the 13th century. There are
numerous interesting monuments to famous people, in-
cluding William Shakespeare and 'many of his friends
and relatives.
