THE GARDEN ENTRANCE. This wonderful
miniature Palace, the great show-piece of the
British Empire Exhibition, will be of permanent
interest as showing a representative Mansion
of the 20th Century. A marvellous company of
over 1,600 artists and craftsmen have combined
to produce the marvel. The scale is one inch
to the foot, and the effect is harmonious and
realistic. The picture shows the beautiful
garden with its handsome entrance gates, its
tall trees and clustering roses, its clipped
hedges and seats, its lawns and flowers, its
shelter for birds and fairy ring in the grass,
and even the dog waiting on the step.
