poor old Adam over, trying history's first strip
tease, plucking fig leaves from her smart new
creation costume
business didn't beguile or befuddle Adam, she
baked him the world's first forbidden apple pie.
Christopher! By now, he was sorely tempted,
and to say he was perplexed and bewildered, bor-
ders on the naive .. . . but history records he ate
heartily of this strange new temptation! Little ole'
Eve had finally put the woman's hex on Adam, and
as they left that famous garden, he was heard to
chortle, "Brother, that apple pie is here to stay".
Since that happy day, mankind has always had
that inherited weakness throughout the ages for
Apple Pie.*
Wedgwood Inn's famous pie bakers have improved
on little ole' Eve's recipe for many years, and now
Wedgwood Inn serves the World's (this, or any
other world's) Best Apple Pie.
Strange as it may seem today, all the little Eves
are tempted as much by our famous apple pie as
the Adams of yore . . . . Women, we love that,
whatever it is!
