THE MARINE CORROSION TESTING STATION of the Interna-
tional Nickel Co., Inc., located on Harbor Island near Wrights-
ville Beach, N.C., is the largest installation of its kind in the
world. Metals, paints, ropes and woods are being studied for
their resistance to marine degredation.
