DELAWARE, one of the original thirteen colonies,
has its State Capitol in Dover. Delaware is
the smallest but one State in the Union, having
on area of 2,050 square miles; it is sometimes
referred to as the "Diamond State?, on account
of its small size and great worth. The State
flower is the peach blossom. Delaware took
its name in 1703, from Lord de la Warr.
