The Country Club, just north of Magnolia, and reach-
ed by the same car, was formerly the old Belvedere Plan-
tation. The old mansion, beautifully situated at the end
of an avenue of oaks, is now used as the club house. On
its grounds are laid out one of the most beautiful golf
links in this part of the country.
