Shows two boats being locked up, one in each lack.
The boat in the foreground, Poe lock, is on the low or
Lake Huron level, while the boat to the right, has already
been raised and is about to leave the Weitzel lock, on the
high or Lake Superior level.
The locks, boats and beautiful parks established and
kept up by the U. S. Government, are a source of never-
failing interest to the observent tourist and an object of
pride to the city.
