HARRISBURG, PA.
THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CHAMBER of the
Capitol. The paintings in this room are by Edwin
Austin Abbey. The largest of these paintings is the
"Apotheosis which portrays famous men in the
Commonwealth's early history. The mural to the left
is "Penn's Treaty with the Indians". The mural to
the right is "The Signing of the Declaration of
Independence".
