The Helena Bridge

| Cross the bridge (east) into Mississippi or West into Arkansas. The mile long bridge offers a great sayings in time and travel over the north-south "Great River Road" route. Helena is located on the West Bank of the Mississippi River. Mark Twain described it as one of the most beautiful sites on the western shores of the "Father of Waters." It was here DeSoto discovered the mighty river in 1541. |
