TENNESSEE STATE CAPITOL
The Tenn. State Capitol Building was erected in
1845-1853 at a cost of $2,500,000.00. The archi-
tecture is that of a Greek lonic Temple. It is located
on a plateau 175' above the Cumberland River and
is a landmark for the entire area.
