and equip the Cushing Memorial Hospital. It
is strictly fireproof and thoroughly modern.
Leavenworth is located on the bluffs overlook-
ing the Missouri River. North of the city is
Ft. Leavenworth, established in 1827, occupy-
ing 8,000 acres.
