The historic GEORGE WASHINGTON MASONIC SHRINE is
located at Tappan N. Y. just seventeen minutes from the
Hudson-spanning George Washington bridge approximately
one and a half miles from Route 9W.
The Fraternity of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of
New York maintains this Shrine which was built in 1700. It
was often visited and occupied during the Revolutionary War
by that distinguished Mason, Brother George Washington.
