THE SEDGWICK COUNTY HOSPITAL AND CLINIC,
WICHITA, KANSAS - This modern 150-bed hos-
pital and out-patient clinic at 1001 North Minne-
apolis was constructed and equipped at a cost of
approximately $1,300,000 by the Board of Commis-
sioners of Sedgwick County. The building and
equipment were completely paid for without
bonded indebtedness through levies made prior to
and during construction. The hospital and clinic
was opened on June 22, 1953. It is operated by
the Sedgwick County Social Welfare Board.
