I had to buy this card. Spent plenty cold Novembers here deer hunting with my dad, uncle, brother and friends. I remember breakfasts and dinners in the dining room (the big window in the middle) with everyone in orange and red plaid clothes. The gallon of wine we kept outside our room chilled by the night air. Got my first deer here, a forked horn on the cornfield property behind the abandon house next to the creek. The house is gone now and so is dad and my uncle, but not the memories of leaving the city Thanksgiving evenings with the anticipation of the HUNT!
I must be getting old but I am glad to have the memories. I miss the people and those days.
Thanks Dad!

My family spent Every labor day weekend here as a kid. & Dotty's BBQ sandwiches with frozen root beers. 1965-1972? Great place, great memories. I had a big crush on their daughter... Song out that year with her name but can't think of it. Wow, grateful times.
