A powerful emotion upon which many actions have been
based, even in ancient times love was a factor. Christo-
pher Marlowe wrote of "the face that launched a thousand
ships, and burnt the topless towers of Illium." He then
begged, “Sweet Helen, make me immortal with a kiss."
Truly, wars have been fought in love's name, and poetry
has been wrought from its strength. Love - a very human
emotion - is so powerful it has ennobled history with
great love stories that inspire people for centuries. Who
could recall the love of Antony and Cleopatra ... of Romeo
and Juliet ... of Sir Lancelot and Queen Guinevere ... and
not be touched by the tenderness and joy of that love?
Lancelot expressed the great power of love thus, “A man
had given all other bliss, And all his worldly worth for this,
To waste his whole heart on one kiss, Upon her perfect
