Additional Details:
Overlooking the west bank off the Hudson River of Rt. 9W in Tomkins Cove, N. Y. (6 mi. south of Bear Mountain Bridge and 30 mi. north of Manhattan) was built in 1858 as the elegant residence of Calvin Tomkins, an early industrialist. An outstanding example of unspoiled Hudson River Gothic Architecture, the mansion is thought to be the first poured concrete building of its size in New York State. Retaining the charm and grace of another era, Boulderberg Manor is noted for fine food and service in the informal continental manner. Luncheon served Weekdays. Dinner every evening. Closed Monday.
