FORNIA DERBY, WASHINGTON PARK HCP., showed in the SAN FERNANDO
STAKES, (ran 4th in the QUAKER CITY HCP.... a total of 23 starts, 7 wins, 8
seconds, 2 thirds, 2 fourths. Injured in the running of the QUAKER CITY HANDI-
CAP, Oct. 26, 1955, he was unable to accept his invitation to run in THE INTER-
NATIONAL at Laurel, was retired to stud at CALUMET FARM to begin duty in
1956. His first foals of 1957 will reach the races in 1959 as two year olds.
DUKE'S LEA offers the combination of *BLENHEIM II and BULL LEA blood
which has been very successful at Calumet Farm for years. He is one of the few
sons of *BLENHEIM II standing at stud in this country.
