The cornerstone of the Woodbury County Court House was
laid on July 10, 1916, and the building was completed and
opened to the public on March 1, 1918. The structure is of
Roman Brick, with granite at the base and at the copings.
Above the heighth of sixty feet the granite coping termi-
nates and leads to the seven story tower.
