Home of Capt. Daniel V. Dawley. Built in the year 1850. Capt. Dawley was a famous river boat Captain and operated his boats from LeClaire, Iowa where this house and other historical landmarks are located among them the famous "Green Tree" of Buffalo Bill fame. Many relics are found in the Cody Museum at LeClaire, Iowa on Route 80 and the Mississippi River - Iowa side.
