In diseases of the pulmonary organs

Ayer's Cherry Pectoral is such a
remedy. It is a scientific combination
of the medicinal principles and curative
virtues of the finest drugs, so united,
chemically, as to insure the greatest
possible efficiency and uniformity of
results. It strikes at the foundation of
all pulmonary diseases, affording prompt
relief and rapid cures, and is adapted to
patients of any age or either sex. Being very palata-
ble, the youngest children take it readily. In ordinary
Coughs, Colds, Sore Throat, Bronchitis, Influenza,
Clergyman's Sore Throat, Asthma, Croup, and Ca-
tarrh, the effects of Ayer's Cherry Pectoral are
magical, and multitudes are annually preserved from
serious illness by its timely and faithful use. It should
be kept at hand in every household for the protection
it affords in sudden attacks. In Whooping-Cough and
Consumption there is no other remedy so efficacious,
soothing, and helpful.
The country is flooded with preparations made of
cheap and ineffective materials, which, put up in bottles
of various sizes, are sold at lower prices, and may, like
simple licorice or molasses, afford temporary relief.
They are too poor in curative qualities to produce any
lasting beneficial effect, and will only deceive and dis-
appoint the patient, and endanger life by delay. It
should be noticed that the doses of Ayer's Cherry
Pectoral consist of a limited number of drops, it
being of great strength and curative power, making
it more economical as a medicine than many other
