FORT MOUNTAIN AS SEEN FROM U.S. HIGHWAY
411, NEAR CHATSWORTH, GEORGIA. Fort Moun-
tain East of Chatsworth is named for an old
rock fort built on the Northern end of the
mountain. Legend is that DeSoto (the first white
man to explore this territory) built the fort.
