Hyde Park Corner. This is the Park entrance to
the west side of Piccadilly. The handsome triple
gateway was built in 1828 from designs by Burton.
The house next it is Apsley House, where the Iron
Duke lived, and had his windows broken by the mob.
*This is, in the season, one of the gayest sights in
London, Rotten Row, the most fashionable riding-
ground in London, being situated just inside the gates.
