HANGMAN'S TOWER, NUREMBERG, GERMANY
Nuremburg, the second largest city in Bavaria, is
considered the oldest city in Germany. In general, it
still retains its Gothic architecture; most of the private
residences dating from the 16th century. It is known
to children as Toy Land, because the manufacturing
of dolls and all kinds of toys is larger than in any
city in the world. The tower in the foreground of this
picture was used by earlier Catholic_priests as a
Torture Chamber for Disbelievers and Protestants.
