The Kingfisher Cabin, writing retreat of well-known Macon novelist and short story author Harry Stillwell Edwards, was built in 1929. Edwards used the cabin to produce a weekly column for the "Atlanta Journal". The cabin graces the Sweetgum nature Trail at the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Macon, Georgia.
