Armstrong State College
Additional Details:
Armstrong State College was established in 1935 as a city junior college. Important progress was made in 1959 when it came under state control as a unit of the University System of Georgia. No longer a junior college in 1964, the curriculum went on a four year, degree-granting status. This attractive campus, covering 250 acres, was opened in January 1966. Armstrong continues as a commuter college. |
