First Christian Church

| Began in 1819 meeting occasionally until in 1878 a continuous organization was perfected. The church was located at Howard and Bolton Streets from 1883 until 1950. First building of frame construction was burned and replaced at same location in 1911. The third building, now at Victory Drive and Atlantic Avenue, is the present one which was dedicated January 28, 1951. |
