The Transparent Car is on display in Section F on the lower
level of the General Motors Building. It is a full-size Pontiac 6
De Luxe Five - Passenger Sedan with Body by Fisher. Outer
panels of transparent plastic and ingenious use of colors on
structural and operating parts let you see at a glance how
well General Motors cars are engineered and how sturdily
Fisher Bodies are built. Behind the car, you see a section
of Dean Cornwell's spirited murals, "Strength and Safety."
