The most historic State in the U. S.-A.
In the year 1846 the province was surren-
dered to the U. S. A. and remained to teri-
tory until 1912, when it was admitted to state-
hood. Through one of the oldest settlements
it is the youngest state in the Union and the
least known. Its wonderful scenery, delight
ful climate, primitive Indian and Spanish
inhabitants and customs, al add to the in-
terest and curiosity of the visitor to this "tand
of mañana."
