MEMORIAL PARK

An aerial view of Frankenmuth's Memorial Park
skating Pond. This artificial pond is so constructed
that during summer months it serves as a duck
pond, during winter months it becomes an ice-
skating rink and has a modern Bavarian warming
house on premises. Sports enthusiasts enjoy skating
and sledding in winter and swimming pool and
tennis courts in summer months. Memorial Park is
maintained by the City of Frankenmuth and
dedicated to War Veterans of this Community.
Came into being in 1954 and now contains 35
acres. In the foreground is the Bavarian-style home
of Wallace Bronner, the individual who owns the
Bronner Display and Sign Advertising Company.
