GRISWOLD STREET is named after one of Detroit's
pioneers, and has often been termed the city's Wall
street A large number of Detroit's Banks, as well as
other financial interests are centered here. It is the
financial heart of the city. Griswold street runs approxi-
mately north and south and is the first street west of
Woodward Avenue. The scene here shows. Capitol.
